教学目标

1.能够听、说、读、写Where does the rain come from? It comes from the clouds.

2.将上面的句型进行替换，如：Where does the cloud come from? It comes from the vapour. 从而能就水的循环进行提问及简单回答，使学生初步了解水循环的过程。

3.能够用故事的形式表述雨水的形成，完成Task time部分。

4.进一步培养学生热爱大自然的美好情感，增强环保意识的同时培养爱科学、好钻研的精神。

【课题】Unit 6 The story of rain

【教学重点】

1.重点掌握句型：Where does the rain come from? It comes from the clouds. 要求学生能从听、说、读、写四方面掌握。

2.学生能替换关键词造新句，如：Where does the cloud come from? It comes from the vapour.并能在水循环的整个过程自如运用。

3.简单了解面包、面粉和小麦三者之间的关系。

【教学难点】Let’s try 部分是教学难点，内容多，词汇量大。建议教师多放几遍录音，适时给学生以提示。

【教具准备】

1.教师准备Let’s try 部分的挂图。

2.教师准备第一课时所学的单词卡。

3.教师准备雨水循环的教学课件。

4.教师准备水循环实验仪器：酒精灯一个，盖量杯一个，水等。

5.学生准备水彩笔，胶水，剪刀等工具。

【教学过程】

1、Warm up （热身）

活动一：口语展示

教学参考时间：2-3 分钟

给学生时间，展示自己的口语水平。内容可以是自我介绍也可以是对话表演或图片讲解。主要是将所学知识进行综合运用。例：I am a boy / girl. I’m in Beijing Primary School. I’m from Beijing, China. I like nature. There are rivers, clouds, mountains, forests, flowers, animals and so on in nature. There are many colors in nature, too. They are white, blue, green, red, yellow and so on. I like these. I like nature, I like world.

其他学生根据刚才口语展示同学所说内容进行问答练习。如：

What’s in nature?

Does she like nature?

How many colors are there in nature?

Where does he / she come from?

….

活动二：唱一唱

教学参考时间：1-2 分钟

教师播放歌曲Little Water Drop的录音，师生共同跟唱。

2、Review （复习）

活动三：记忆大比拼

教学参考时间：2-3 分钟

1.教师依次出示Let’s start 和A Let’s learn 部分的单词卡片sun，river，sea，snow，stream  cloud，vapour，rain学生齐读后张贴在黑板上。

2.教师迅速拿走一张卡片，让学生说说被拿走卡片的内容并拼读单词。

3.用同样的方法完成其它单词的拼读。

3、Presentation （呈现新知）

活动四：听一听

教学参考时间：3-4 分钟

1.教师提问：What do you have for breakfast? 请学生回答。教师继续说：I usually have bread and milk for breakfast. Do you like bread? Where does bread come from?

2.教师出示Let’s try 部分的挂图，手指面粉和小麦的图，让学生猜一猜：What’s this?

3.教师播放Let’s try 部分的录音，内容如下：

----Where does bread come from?

----Bread comes from flour.

----Where does flour come from?

-----Flour comes from wheat.

----Where does wheat come from?

---- Farmers plant the seeds of wheat. Then the plant grows. Then we get wheat.

----Wow! I thought bread comes from the store!

4.再次播放录音，本次听的过程中教师可以就一些新的语言做适当的讲解。

5.教师带领学生完成听音编号的练习。

6.完成标号练习后，教师指着本部分的三幅图问：Where does bread / flour come from? 引导学生回答：It comes from ….

活动五：对话模仿

教学参考时间：5-6 分钟

1．教师利用Let’s try 部分引出主要句型的学习，出示面包的图片问：Where does bread come from? 学生回答：Bread comes from flour. 教师询问：Where does apple juice / milk come from? 引导学生进行回答。

2．教师继续说：Last lesson, Sarah has a question, Where does the rain come from? Today, we’re going to talk about where does the rain come from? 播放教学课件：即 Lets’ talk 对话框中的内容。让学生完整听一边录音内容，说说能听懂的句子。

3. 继续播放课件，两句两句的出现，鼓励学生跟读。

Where does the rain come from? It comes from the clouds.图出现许多云彩。

Where does the cloud come from? It comes from the vapour.图出现蒸汽的样子。

Where does the vapour come from? It comes from the water in the river.图出现河流。

How can the water become vapour? The sun shines and water becomes vapour.图出现太阳普照。

4．学生观看雨水形成的课件，加深对雨水形成的理解，更加深对句子的理解。

5．教师拿出准备好的水循环实验仪器：酒精灯一个，盖量杯一个，水等。教师一边演示水循环实验的过程一边用英文进行简单讲解。

6．学生集体读句子。

活动六：对话展示

教学参考时间：4-5 分钟

1.教师在黑板上出示rain, cloud, vapour, sun, river。

2.教师让学生俩人一组进行对话练习，内容为 Let’s talk 部分。

3.教师找3-4组的学生到前面展示对话内容，边说边指着黑板上的单词卡，表述雨、云、蒸汽、水的形成条件是云、蒸汽、水、阳光等。同时教师要鼓励能力强的学生背着复述对话。

4、Let’s play （趣味操练）

活动七：小组讨论

教学参考时间：4-5 分钟

教师将学生分为3-4人一组，学生在小组内对水循环的过程进行问答、讨论。学生主要运用句型：Where does … come from? 教师应鼓励学生在课下查找有关内容的资料，课上进行组内问答的同时讨论雨水形成或水循环的情况，尽量使用英文，如果内容较为复杂，可以适当使用中文。

活动八：说句子

教学参考时间：2-3 分钟

教师把rain, cloud, vapour, sun, river, water, stream 等图片面朝下贴在黑板上，请两个学生随意翻开其中的两张，然后把这两个单词作为水循环过程的起始点和结束点进行问答。如翻开的是water和 vapour，学生就可以说：Where does the vapour come from? It comes from the water in the river. 或者How can the water become vapour? The sun shines and the water becomes vapour. 如果翻到的是water 和 rain两张卡片，那么就要根据水循环的整个过程进行问答。

5、Consolidation and extension （扩展活动）

活动九：说说做做

教学参考时间：3-4 分钟

1.教师让学生打开教学用书第76页Task time 部分，让学生参看课本说一说雨水的形成，做表述时可以参考语言：Today I’ll tell you the story of rain. Where does the rain come from? It comes from the clouds. The cloud comes from the vapour. And the vapour comes from the water. The sun shines, the water becomes hot and then becomes the vapour.

2.学生拿出准备好的水彩笔，胶水，剪刀等工具。

3.让学生自己做一做，制作一本有关“雨的故事”的精美图画书送给教师、家长或朋友。

活动十：练一练

教学参考时间：3-4 分钟

做本单元A Let’s talk部分的活动手册配套练习。

1.Look and talk. 看图说话。教师可让学生在小组内完成。

2.Ask, answer and write. 完成对话。教师讲解题目要求，学生完成对话。

活动十一：小结

教学参考时间：1分钟

1.认读词语，知道中文：flour, bread, wheat。

2.

4.替换关键词造新句Where does the cloud come from? It comes from the vapour.
