1  Teaching aims and demands:

(1)    知识和技能

a: 能听懂、会说big, small; long, short; thin, fat; tall, short; from; Chinese; eyes, hair; girl; boy, nine, ten

b: 能听懂、会说My name isIm Im from Im not My .. is/are

c: 掌握最简单的自我介绍方法

2)过程与方法

本课采用视听法。即视觉与同步录音听觉相结合的方法揭示语意,充分发挥手势图片的作用。通过演示,学生有了对照,更好的理解词义。

3)情感、态度、价值观

充分发挥学生口语的创造性,鼓励学生多开口,培养口语能力和自信心。

2  课题分析

1)在教学中的地位和作用

 本课是第十一单元的第一课时,学习表示人物的单词boy girl 和表示状态的单词long, short; tall, short; big, small; thin, fat. 通过本课的学习,学生能初步掌握简单的自我介绍方法,用至少六句话来简单介绍自己的情况。

2)内容分析

教学重点:(1)词汇 big, small; long, short; thin, fat; tall, short; from; Chinese; eyes, hair; girl; boy ,nine, ten

2)句型 My name isIm Im from Im not My .. is/are

教学难点   熟练的运用学到的新句型来介绍自己

3  教学策略分析

1)教法:视听法、听说法

2)教学手段:多媒体课件、实物、图片

4  设计思路

1)由旧知引到新知 2)多媒体课件直观学习 3)通过Nancy Black 自我介绍

5、教学过程

Step 1: warm up

 1 T: Show a picture of Nancy: Who is this girl?

   S: She’s Nancy.

   T: Yes, this girl is Nancy. She’s an English girl.

 2 T: Let’s sing the song : Hi, Nancy

Step 2: Presentation

1 T: Show pictures of some fruits: What are these? What can you see?

 Ss: They are… I can see some…

 T: Yes, they are some.. Look at these… This one is big and that one is small.

 Ss: Make up phrases: a big… a small..

 T: Let’s say the rhyme: They are all very good.

2 T: Show pictures of some animals: What are these?

  Ss: They are…

  T: yes, this .. is fat , and t hat …is thin.

  Ss: make up phrases, say chant like the rhyme.

3: T: Show pictures of school things. What are these?

Ss: They are some…

T: Yes, this … is long, and that … is short.

Ss make up phrases a long… a short …

4 T: Show pictures of a boy and a girl. Look, this is a boy. He’s tall. And look at that girl, she’s short.

 Ss: Make up phrases and  read  the sentences.

5: T: Show pictures of eyes and hair. Teach the words.

  Ss read the words.

  T: My eyes are big. My hair is short. What about yours?

  Ss make up sentences on themselves.

Step 3: Presentation

1 T: Show a picture of Liu Tao. Who’s this boy?

  Ss: This is Liu Tao.

2 T: Play the tape, ask the following questions.

1.  Is he a Chinese boy?

2.  Where is he from?

3.  How old is he?

4.  Is he fat or thin?

5.  Are his eyes big or small?

  Ss finish the form.

3 Ss read the passage.

Step 4: Talk about yourselves

T: Show all the sentence forms:  My name is…I’m … I’m from… I’m not… My .. is/are…

  Please say something about yourselves.

Ss say about themselves.

Ss say it in pairs and groups.

Step5: Homework

Introduce yourselves to your classmates in English.
