【课题】Unit 6  At a farm

教学目标

1．能听、说、认读单词：tomato、cucumber、potato、onion、carrot以及它们的复数形式。

2．通过说唱B部分的歌谣巩固所学单词的复数形式。

3．通过Story time 的内容提高学生的阅读理解能力。

【教学重点】单词：tomato, cucumber, potato, onion, carrot

【教学难点】potato和tomato的复数形式。

【教学准备】

1、  Let’s learn B部分的课件和录音。

2、  相关的单词卡片。

3、  所学蔬菜的实物。

4、  Let’s chant的录音。

5、  Story time的课件。

【教学过程】

(一) 热身（Warm up）

Let’s sing

1、  教师放歌曲的录音，学生看图欣赏。

2、  学生跟录音哼唱歌曲。

3、  请学生欣赏Let’s chant部分歌谣，教师要根据歌词适时举起相应的图片。

（二）新课呈现（Presentation）

1、  教师手举一个西红柿，说：I like tomatoes. Do you like tomatoes?

   引导学生用I like …或I don’t like…根据自己的实际情况表达。

2、  教师再拿起一根黄瓜，边说边完全呈现：Oh，it’s long and green. It’s a cucumber. Do you like cucumbers? 让学生在回答中学习单词。

3、  出示土豆：Do you know it？French fries are made of it. It’s a potato. Do you like potatoes?

学生根据用I like …或I don’t like…根据自己的实际进行情况表达。

4、  教师出示洋葱：It’s pink and round. It is often used in pizza. It’s an onion. Do you like      onions? 学生读单词：onion

5、  请学生猜谜语：They are long and orange. Rabbits like eating them? What are they?

学习单词carrot。

6、  教师将五种蔬菜分别放在教室的不同位置，然后说单词，请学生指出相应的实物。

小组活动：一个同学说单词，其他同学举起相应的单词卡片。

7、绘画游戏：教师说： two potatoes；three carrots；a pink onion；five long cucumbers；

                      four tomatoes。

             学生比赛看谁画得又快又正确。

（三）学习对话：(B Let’s learn)

1、  学生看课件。

2、  教师提问：

a、  What do you think of the cucumbers？Are they fresh？

引导学生重复：They are fresh..

教师拿起实物(tomato, carrot)：The tomato is fresh. The carrot is fresh.然后启发学生说说fresh的意思。

引导学生用fresh一词形容图（P63/73）中的内容：The …are fresh.

b、  Look at the potatoes，are they big？

引导学生重复：Yes，and the potatoes are big.

3、  学生跟录音模仿对话。

4、  教师启发学生用所学形容词和颜色词描述图中的蔬菜。

（四）Let’s chant：

1、  教师请学生看着书听歌谣。

2、  让学生观察歌谣中like后的蔬菜单词和Let’s learn中的单词有什么不同。

启发学生说出like后的名词是以复数形式出现的。

分别请五个学生将黑板上的单词卡片原地变为复数形式，再请另外五名学生领读改变后单词。

教师适当强调tomato和potato的复数形式拼写的变化，carrot的复数形式读音的变化。

3、  请学生跟录音说唱儿歌，教师强调单词juicy，tasty，yummy，tender，smelly的读音和意思。

（五） 趣味操练：

1、  每名同学举起（自己喜欢吃的）蔬菜卡片一张。

2、  另请五名同学收拿小篮子，分别说出蔬菜的英文名称，其他同学根据听到的词将手中的图片分别放进相应的小篮子里。如：其中一位同学说potato，手拿土豆图片的学生将图片放进该学生的小篮子中。

3、  教师统计全班学生最喜欢吃什么蔬菜。

（六） 扩展练习：Story time

1、  学生看课件，了解故事大意。

2、  学生自己读故事，找出生词。

3、  教师解释生单词turkeys，vegetables，mutton，straw-hat的意思并带学生大声朗读。

Vegetables：cucumbers，potatoes，tomatoes，onions and carrots are vegetables.

Turkeys：They like hens，but they are bigger than hens.

Mutton：Meat from goats or sheep.

Straw-hat：A hat is made of straw.

4、学生自己看图阅读理解对话中的语句，教师巡视答疑。
